REC is a leading manufacturer of high quality and high efficiency monocrystalline wafers for the solar industry. REC wafers are manufactured in state-of-the-art production lines at our plant in Norway.

REC started manufacturing mono wafers already in 2005 and has delivered reliable products to customers worldwide including Japanese. REC has also many years of experience manufacturing N-type mono wafers.

Wafers produced at our plants in Norway are EU certified, allowing our customers to certify their products as European. They can benefit from the 10 percent premium available as part of the Italian photovoltaic incentive scheme for solar systems containing European components.
